Description of the attraction

The Bojnice National Zoo is located in close proximity to the romantic Bojnice Castle. ZOO Bojnice is the oldest and most visited zoo in Slovakia. You can visit it throughout the year, it is open daily. ZOO Bojnice belongs to the general type of zoos, so it does not have a specific specialization. You will see a unique collection of animals from all over the world. Currently, more than 430 species live in it, which is the most of all Slovak zoos. The Bojnice National Zoo offers more than an ordinary tour. You can also choose one of the special programs. For one day, you can become a zookeeper, cook or gardener. There is also the possibility of a guided tour, during which you will learn many interesting facts about the life of animals. You can also get to the grounds of the Bojnice ZOO, which regular visitors cannot access. To have a nice memory of the Bojnice ZOO, you can buy gift and promotional items in the souvenir shop.
