Our Cottage under Starou Horou is located only about 1 km from the Orava dam, in a quiet place under the Magurka mountain. It is the ideal place for mushroom picking, walks in the clean Orava air, cycling in the summer, and cross-country skiing in the winter. The cottage is ideal for families, groups of friends, colleagues and of course tourists and athletes. It is a new building, mainly made of natural materials, designed and furnished with an emphasis on detail, aesthetics and functionality. Whatever you like, you are warmly welcome.

We are happy to accommodate you all year round with a maximum capacity of 12 beds. The daily part of the cottage consists of an airy open space of the living room, kitchen and dining room. On the large comfortable couch (possibility of folding it into a full-sized double bed) you can watch your favorite programs on TV together (plus Netflix, YouTube), play board games or listen to the radio. The fireplace, which is part of the space, creates a pleasant romantic atmosphere and warms up during cold days and evenings. The room leads to the outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. You can prepare it in the kitchen, where, in addition to the coffee maker, you will use an induction hob, electric oven, microwave oven, kettle, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

The night part of the cottage consists of three bedrooms, two of which are upstairs. One has a double bed with a pull-out bed, the other has a double bed with two pull-out beds and one single bed. The third bedroom, the attic, provides a luxurious view of the Orava Reservoir. You will sleep in it on a double bed. Each bedroom is equipped with chill bags and its own TV. On the ground floor there is a bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, towels and a hairdryer, and the bathroom on the first floor also offers a bathtub. Especially during longer stays, you will appreciate the washing machine with dryer and iron. The exterior, including parking spaces, is monitored by a camera system. Wellness lovers will appreciate the hot tub, in the summer there will be additional wellness options, including outdoor activities for children.

The beautiful Orava nature will tempt you to take more or less challenging walks and hikes in the surroundings. The nearby Orava Reservoir provides opportunities for swimming, water sports, sightseeing cruises and catching bronze on its banks. You can experience romance in Autokino Orava, adrenaline in Laser Game Vulkán. In the nearby Námestov, children will enjoy Kinderland, art lovers the Mária Medvecká Gallery or the Schürger ART Gallery. In winter, you can ski in the Ski Center Nižná Uhliská, or in Brezovica or Zuberec.
