Chata pod Mníchom is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Terchová, in a beautiful natural environment by the forest towards Vrátná. We will gladly provide you with comfortable accommodation, whether you are a family with children, a group of colleagues, friends or tourists. The surroundings are attractive at any time of the year and the nearby attractions attract guests from all over the country.

We are happy to accommodate you all year round with a maximum capacity of 10 beds. The day part of the cottage is an open air space consisting of a kitchen, dining room and living room. While some want to sit on a comfortable couch while watching their favorite programs on TV, others cook up a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner in the kitchen. Thanks to full equipment in the form of an electric oven, induction hob, microwave oven, toaster, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine, you will not miss anything. The atmosphere is completed by the fireplace, which creates a pleasant romantic atmosphere and warms you during cold, dry days.

The night part of the cottage consists of four double bedrooms. Each provides a comfortable sleep on a double bed. Two additional beds in the form of an extra bed are placed on the couch in the living room. Two bathrooms will help you clean up after a hard day. Both are equipped with a shower, one also has a toilet. Another toilet in the cottage is separate.

For the smallest visitors, we have a cot, two high dining chairs, as well as a children's corner with toys. You can sit outside in the gazebo. Food always tastes better in the fresh air, which is why you have a grill or kettle ready during your stay. If you're an athlete at heart and you can't imagine your stay without your own skis or bike, feel free to take them with you, we'll be happy to provide you with space to store them. Not only WiFi internet connection, but also secured parking for 3 vehicles right next to the building is a matter of course.

Have you not yet been to the sought-after region of Horné Považie and don't know what you can experience here? Terchová, as a bandit village, will definitely attract you to the statue or museum of the legendary Juraj Jánošík. Children will enjoy the local mini zoo, a rope park, a beautiful wooden nativity scene or a ride on the Terchov train. If you are a nature lover, put on your hiking boots and go to Malý or Veľký Rozsutec, to the Šútovské waterfall, to Veľký or Malý Kriváň, to Chleb or Jánošíkovo diery. In winter, the perfectly groomed slopes of the Vrátna Free Time Zone are a sure bet. The ski bus stops 10 m from the cottage.
