Are you looking for beautiful places in Štiavnické vrchy that are worth going to? One of them is the Bralce nature reserve. The highest point of the reserve is Panský vrch, also called Kečka. This beautiful location near the village of Hlumin nad Hronom beckons for a hike from afar. A 5 km long circular educational trail leads through the Bralce nature reserve. It starts in Lehôtka pod Brehmi in the Mlyn section and takes you through the most beautiful places of Panská hora. You will learn interesting information about each of them on the information panels. The route is initially easy and leads through a forest path. Later, it turns into rocky terrain, passing several protected caves that are not open to the public. They are Veľká jaskyňa, jaskyňa pod Kečkou and Tmavá jaskyňa. The Bralce nature reserve is a place where more demanding hiking awaits you. In some sections between massive rocks, it is necessary to climb iron rails with chains. You will be able to admire breathtaking rock precipices, needles, canyons and rock windows. There are also rocky seas created by stone mining in the area. The summits of Panská hora offer captivating views of the surrounding mountains. You will also see Szabóová rock, Kapitulské bralá, in the valley below you Hlumin nad Hronom and the surrounding villages. The educational trail through the Bralce nature reserve ends at Janova luka. There you will join the forest road that will take you back to Lehôtka.
