Cottage Burg nad Banská Štiavnica is located only 800 m from the top station of the Salamadra Ski Resort cable car. It is located in a quiet part of the village of Štiavnické Bane - part of Horná Roveň, directly above the historic Banská Štiavnica, in the protected landscape area Štiavnické vrchy. Don't be misled by the word "Burg", the miners of Štiavnica jokingly referred to their small houses as "Burg", which means castle.

Our cottage is an ideal starting point for hiking (for example to Mount Sitno) and cycling to the surrounding lakes and ponds, of which there are quite a few in the vicinity of the accommodation. Equally interesting is the town of Banská Štiavnica itself, where you can visit the Old and New Castles, the Banská nature museum, the Botanical Garden and stroll through the historic square. Year-round fun and relaxation is offered by Vodný raj Vyhne, and in winter you can enjoy skiing at Salamandra Ski Resort.

We offer you year-round accommodation in a renovated cottage, the capacity of which is adapted for the stay of a maximum of 8 people. Accommodation is available to you as a whole for one separate group or family with children.
