Description of the attraction

There is also a unique contact zoo in Liptovský Mikuláš near Tatralandia, popular with tourists. Adults and children can get up close and personal with the animals. In the contact ZOO you can admire 115 species of animals, of which more than 400 currently live here. Here you can meet the cubs of dangerous animals such as bear, tiger, lion, cougar, serval and lynx. It is very popular to enter the aviary where tamed parrots, squirrels, ground squirrels and marmots live. You can also try feeding the monkeys. Here you will learn about the life of Japanese macaques, a macaque, a monkey and a marmoset. Kontaktná ZOO in Liptovský Mikuláš also thinks about the unique experience that children have from riding horses and ponies. You will have a breathtaking view in the butterfly garden full of colorful butterflies and flowers. If you have enough courage, you can go through a tunnel where bats with a wingspan of up to 1 m live. In one of the pavilions, tamed red foxes, barbarian foxes and arctic foxes are waiting for you.
