Javorníky is rich in beautiful places that are definitely worth a visit. One of them has an unusual name — Zarubáná Kýčera. This deforested hill is located outside the main ridge of the mountain range above the villages of Veľké Rovné and Dlhé Pole. However, the Zarubáná Kýčera lookout quickly became a popular tourist spot in this location. The Zarubáná Kýčera lookout has three floors at a height of 15 meters, the ascent to the top is via ladders. In good weather, you can see the Javorník ridge in its full beauty, Malá Fatra, Strážovské vrchy, White Carpathians, Beskydy Mountains, Súľovské skaly, Vršatské bradla, Babia hora or Pilsko. The place is perfect for a trip with friends and family. You can have a barbecue here, you can rest in the wooden shelters that are built along the road. Zarúbaná Kýčera Lookout is accessible by following the tourist sign from the local part of Veľké Rovné – Ivor. The road leads through the village of Dolinky. On the information panels that line it, you can learn about the history of the village, architecture, geomorphology, geology, plants and animals.
