The well-known historical attraction of the town of Tvrdošín, which is also its oldest building — the wooden church of All Saints, was built in the middle of the 15th century. This architecturally interesting building is located on the site of a cemetery. In the summer season, the church is open to the public during opening hours. If you will be traveling around during the off-season, you will have to book the tour at least 1 day before the planned visit. The wooden church of All Saints in Tvrdošín is included in the UNESCO list. In 1994, he was awarded by the Europa Nostra organization. In its interior, beautiful figural and ornamental paintings and a decorated coffered ceiling will catch your attention. During your visit, don't forget to notice the baroque altar from the end of the 17th century, on which there is an image of All Saints. This altar replaced its predecessor, which was a Gothic altar. One of the wings with the image of St. Peter and St. John the Baptist.
