We offer you a short-term rental of the forest Chata del bosco in the picturesque and quiet surroundings of the village of Oravská Lesná. The cottage is suitable for recreation and entertainment, both in summer and in winter. This cottage is the gateway to the Orava Snow ski resort, 1.3 km away.

We accommodate you all year round in a spacious cottage with a total capacity of 16 beds. The cottage is brick with wooden elements. On the ground floor, the cottage has a large space for spending time together, you will find a connected dining room, kitchen and living room. In the living room, while watching your favorite TV programs and playing board games, you can warm up by the fireplace, which creates the right atmosphere, especially during frosty winter evenings. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. There is an electric stove with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, hand blender, pots, bowls, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups. There is a large dining table in the dining room. In the basement, not only children will have fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and throwing darts.

The floor has three bedrooms. You will sleep in a 2-bed bedroom with a double bed, a 6-bed bedroom with a bunk bed, a double bed and two single beds and an 8-bed bedroom with a double bed, four single beds and two pull-out beds. After a day spent with activities, fun and relaxation, you can freshen up on the ground floor in the bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet. Upstairs you will find a second bathroom with a bathtub, sink and toilet. The entire cottage provides WiFi internet access.

Do you like to prepare food in the fresh air? In that case, use the grill, outdoor fireplace, kettle and fireplace. While the food is being prepared, relax on the garden swing, while the children can use the playground with a sandbox, swing, climbing frame, slide and trampoline, as well as a space for playing football (playground available from May 2025). Parking is provided in front of the cottage (in the winter months a 4x4 car or snow chains are required).

The cottage has a view of the surrounding nature and in its immediate vicinity there is the possibility of hiking, cycling, mushroom picking and in winter skiing. The surroundings offer, at a distance of approximately 300 m, the Orava Forest Railway with a 7 km scenic ride, at the top station with the possibility of walking to the lookout tower. Funny Park with various attractions and a small pastry shop is especially suitable for families with children. Approximately 1.4 km away is the Kohútik Guesthouse and Restaurant with a children's playground, located next to the Orava Snow ski resort with numerous ski runs, cable cars and lifts. The high altitude in the village of approximately 935 m above sea level guarantees excellent snow conditions for skiing during the winter season, mainly on natural snow. Approximately 30 km away is the town of Námestovo with many shopping, entertainment and recreational opportunities, such as Kinderland - an entertainment center for children and adolescents, the Orava Dam with the possibility of boating and many others.
