At the end of the Vajskovská valley, which is one of the most beautiful valleys of the Low Tatras, its glittering jewel – the Vajskovský waterfall – awaits you. This place will please even those who are not very fond of "tourist crowds". On the way, you will be able to enjoy peace, quiet and the magical beauty of nature. The road ends at the waterfall, it does not continue further due to nature protection. Vajskovský waterfall lies at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level. Its waters fall powerfully from a height of 9 meters down a wild rock slope. Rich vegetation grows in its surroundings. The waterfall is permanent, it reaches its greatest size after the rains and in the spring, when the snow from the surrounding peaks melts. A 9 km long asphalt road will take you through the entire valley, so this hike is more of a walking tour. You can also go here by bicycle. The path leading to Vajskovský waterfall is open all year round. If you are attracted by the sight of the ice kingdom, don't forget to visit it in winter as well. Vajskovská dolina is also suitable for cycling. You can reach Pálenica by bicycle, from there a 2 km long footpath leads to the place. A marked hiking trail also leads to the waterfall from Dolna Lehota.
