Malý Javorník - 1021 m n. m.
Description of the attraction
In the Czech part of the Javorník mountain range, Malý Javorník is the highest peak and also the only 1,000 peak on this side. This hill is sought after by Slovak and Czech tourists. It offers visitors excellent hiking in the bosom of beautiful nature. Malý Javorník is largely covered by forests, so you will only have a limited view of the top. However, the beauty of nature in the Adamkov reserve, which lies on its southern slopes, will make up for it. The nature reserve is a locality with rare, preserved forest stands. A climb to Malý Javorník is an experience at any time of the year. You can reach it by following marked hiking trails from the Slovak and Czech sides. If you are going on a hike from the Slovak side, you can start in the village of Ráztoka (about 3 km), Podjavorník (about 5 km) or Horná Mariková (about 10 km). A red tourist sign also passes through the peak, following which you can reach the highest peak of this mountain range — Veľký Javorník.
