Chalet Alex offers accommodation for 8-9 guests. Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms and one quadruple bedroom, and you can add an extra bed or a cot to each of them. A separate toilet is available in the rooms. On the ground floor, you will be greeted by a spacious living room with a comfortable couch, TV, fireplace and dining table. This room is connected to a fully equipped kitchen, where you will find a dishwasher, ceramic hob, electric and microwave oven, coffee maker and kettle. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with a shower, two sinks and a toilet. The entire cottage is covered by a WiFi connection.

On the outside you will find a pleasant sitting in the gazebo, a fireplace with benches and a children's playground with swings, a trampoline and a slide. You can enjoy great relaxation in a bathtub with hydromassage. During the summer holidays, you can use the swimming pool with a diameter of 3 m and solar heating. Parking is provided right next to the cottage in a guarded parking lot.

Chata Alex is located on the outskirts of the village of Mýto pod Ďumbierom in the district of Brezno. In the winter season, you can ski in the nearby Tále, Mýto Ski&Bike park and Chopok resorts. In the summer you can enjoy the Bike Park, the Gray Bear Golf Course or explore the Bystrian Cave. For lovers of swimming, the Tále natural swimming pool, the swimming pool in Podbrezová or the water reservoir Krpáčovo are available. The surrounding nature of the Low Tatras offers many hiking trails leading to the peaks of Ďumbier and Chopok, or to the MR Štefánika Cottage. Children will have fun in Tarzánia in Tály, on horses in Ajax farm in Mýt or by riding the Čiernohronská railway to the Vydrovský forest open-air museum.
