Bojnice observation tower |

Description of the attraction

The observation tower in Bojnice with a height of about 30 meters was inspired by a similar tower that you can find in Moravia. This relatively demanding technical structure, which has no analogues in Slovakia, offers a view of the spa town of Bojnice and its surroundings. From the lookout you can enjoy the view of the Bojnice castle with its beautiful gardens, you will also see Prievidza. Part of the tower is a toboggan with which the more daring can descend from the top to the bottom. The observation tower in Bojnice is located west of the Bojnice castle near the Bojnice calvary and the chapel of St. Wendelin. A paved road leads to the forest that surrounds it. You can go along it by bike or stroller. There are also marked tourist routes from Bojnické spa and Bojnice. You can get here from the city in about 40 minutes. If you decide to come by car, you park it about 5 minutes away from the lookout. Entrance to the lookout is charged. In the future, the construction of a cable car is planned, which will lead here from the Čajka thermal swimming pool.
