Chata Háj is located in the heart of the Orava nature, in the beautiful forest environment of the Hruštín recreation area. This unique cottage with its own wellness center provides an oasis of peace and relaxation for its guests.

Chata Háj is ideal for families with children and for closed groups, with a maximum capacity of 13 beds and operation all year round. The common room is equipped with cable TV and a comfortable couch for relaxation. The dining table provides space for eating or talking together. On cold days, you will appreciate the warmth of the fireplace. A separate games room offers billiards, table football and other games, while children can have fun in a corner full of toys. The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer, microwave oven and kettle.

In the cottage you will find four bedrooms. Two 2-bed rooms have separate beds that can be joined into a double bed, while one of them has an extra bed. The 3-bed room includes three single beds that can be joined, and the 5-bed room includes three single beds and one bunk bed. A cot is available on request. The bathroom with toilet offers a shower, sink, towels and clothes dryer. Guests can relax in a modern wellness center with an infrared sauna and a hot tub.

In the exterior of the cottage you can enjoy outdoor seating, a gazebo, a grill, a swing and a fireplace. There is a fireplace with a kettle ready for cooking goulash or roasting pork chops. Children will enjoy the playground with sandpit, trampoline and climbing frames. There is a separate room for storing bicycles and skis. Parking is possible right next to the building and the cottage is covered by WiFi connection.

The surroundings offer many activities, such as hiking, cycling, mushroom picking and skiing. We recommend a visit to the Orava Castle, the Museum of Noble Carriages and Sleighs in the Orava Podzámek, rafting down the Orava River or swimming in the Aquapark Dolný Kubín. Horse riding enthusiasts can go for a ride at the Saledos Equestrian Club. In winter, the Ski Center Kozinec, Ski Krušetnica and ORAVA SNOW Oravská Lesná are excellent choices.
