The secluded log house is situated near the forest, directly above the village of Hodruša - Hámre. It is located only 4 kilometers from the town of Žarnovica and not far from the well-known town of Banská Štiavnica.

The beautiful surrounding nature provides you with rich opportunities for hiking and cycling all year round, but especially a great break from the usual work pace right in the lap of nature. In the vicinity of the accommodation there are natural lakes and lakes, unique attractions and interesting things in the nearby Banská Štiavnica, Svät Anton and Nova Bani and its hamlets. Mushroom pickers and lovers of forest fruits will also enjoy themselves in the area. In winter, you can ski on the slopes of the Salamandra Ski Resort.

The log cabin is in operation all year round and has a capacity of 13 people. The living area of the log cabin is approx. 200 m2. There is a living room with a comfortable couch in the log cabin. Here you can easily watch TV with satellite reception. The crackling wood from the fireplace completes the idyllic atmosphere. A fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with seating are connected to the living room. To spend your free time, we have also prepared a clubhouse in the basement, where you can play darts and table hockey.


The exterior of the log cabin offers you to sit on the terrace or in the gazebo. Here you can grill specialties on the grill of the garden fireplace, cook a pot stew or roast something good on the fire. Children will have fun swinging on a swing or a garden swing, on which adults also like to swing. There is also enough space in the log cabin to store your bicycles and skis.

We will lend you an off-road vehicle - access to the log house is only possible with cars with a higher chassis, in winter only with cars that have 4x4. If you do not have such a car, we have an off-road vehicle available for you, which we will lend you. You can always use it to move back to the cottage. Parking right next to the cottage (only cars with a higher chassis) or private cars in the village.
