Description of the attraction

ZOO Spišská Nová Ves is located in the southeastern part of the city and covers an area of 8 ha. Founded in 1989, it is the youngest of Slovakia's large zoos. ZOO Spišská Nová Ves complex was created on the territory with a stream that completes its natural environment. Surrounded by lots of trees, visitors can enjoy the pleasant cool while viewing more than 130 species of animals. Here you will find felines, kangaroos, llamas and other mammals, reptiles, fish, even invertebrates. A prominent feature of the garden is the lake, which is also an ideal environment for communities of ducks and other wild waterfowl. The fun doesn't end even after the Spišská Nová Ves ZOO tour. For children there is a Monkeyland ropeway, which consists of various obstacles between the trees. Other entertainment options will be provided by playgrounds and a trampoline center.
