Description of the attraction

During the journey through the Suchá Belá gorge, which is located in the Slovak Paradise National Park, you can see several beautiful waterfalls. The Okienkový waterfall is considered the most beautiful of them. The Okienkový waterfall is a cascading waterfall that does not impress with its size. It is only 8 meters long, but it still gives the gorge a subtle charm of its beauty. Its spring flows down the rock walls and in the lower part forms a small lake with crystal clear water. The name Window Waterfall gave this place a rock window, which is located in its upper part. When you get to the top, you can turn around and see another rock window. You will go through the Window Waterfall through a section secured by ladders. Caution is therefore appropriate when crossing. Especially because when going up you will be climbing on a slippery surface, on which water is constantly splashing. In the winter months, the roaring waterfall quiets down and welcomes visitors to the Suchá Belá gorge with a magical view of the icefall. Surrounded by frozen rock walls and vegetation, it creates a fabulous winter scenery.
