Spa Sliač is situated in beautiful nature on the edge of the Slovak Ore Mountains, Kremnické and Štiavnické vrchy. They are historically the first spas in Slovakia that are intended for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The Sliač Spa draws exceptional healing water from springs of constant temperature with a high content of carbon dioxide. Among them, the most important springs are Štefánik, Lenkey, Bystrica, Adam and Kúpelný prameň. Kúpelný prameň springs directly below the Spa House with an isothermal temperature of 33.2°C. Its water is used for medical purposes without any further artificial intervention. Spa Sliač provides a wide range of treatment procedures that you can undergo as part of spa and rehabilitation stays as well as on an outpatient basis. For all of them we will mention balneotherapy, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and temperature therapy. If you have not purchased a stay, you need to make a telephone reservation in advance. Accommodation for spa guests is provided by the Poľana hotels and the Palace Spa Hotel, which also has a dining room. It is also available to the public.
