Description of the attraction

The city of Senica has been located at the crossroads of important trade routes since prehistoric times. They are the "Amber Road", which ran from north to south along the Morava River, and the "Česká Cesta". It led from west to east. This important location predestined the location of the city for settlement since the early period of human history. During the tour, the Senica Museum will introduce you to many interesting facts about local history. In three permanent exhibitions, you will see exhibits from the earliest times of Senica's prehistory to the period when the town was founded on the Czech road. An interesting walk through history ends in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. The Senica Museum is currently operating in a trial operation.
