Description of the attraction

The last of the magical waterfalls in the Suchá Belá gorge is Bočný waterfall. You will reach it along the green hiking trail that starts at the Podlesok tourist center. The water in the waterfall falls from a height of about 10 meters. Over the years, huge bowls washed out in the surrounding rocks together with its currents create a fairy-tale theater. The side waterfall got its name because of its location. It is located outside the main course of the river Suchá Belá and lies outside the main tourist route. It dries up during the dry summer months. If you visit this place during the summer, it is possible that you will not get wet at the waterfall. However, the side waterfall provides a wonderful sight in the spring months. If you want to see it in its full power, go on a hike to the Suchá Belá gorge after heavy rains or in the spring when the snow melts.
