Skalný vodopád
Description of the attraction
The smallest waterfall in Sokola dolina in Slovak paradise — Skalný vodopád is only 3.5 meters high. Nevertheless, it abounds in beauty that enchants every visitor. This place also hides another treasure of the Slovak Paradise. In its immediate vicinity is the Veil Waterfall, which is also the highest waterfall in the national park. If you like the sight of water falling from a height in beautiful streams, you will surely be pleased that you will come across two more waterfalls while crossing the valley. They are Bočný and Vyšný vodopád. You can admire all four of them at any time of the year. They will have the most water in the spring or after heavy rains. A yellow tourist sign will lead you to Skalný vodopád. The route is one-way, you can go on it only in the direction against the flow of the stream. At the end of Sokola dolina, you can connect to the Glacká path, which leads through the middle of the Slovak Paradise from Kláštorisk to Geravy.
