Description of the attraction

Vrch Poľana is one of the sought-after locations for active tourism in the Low Tatras. It is accessible from three sides, the easiest access is from Demänovská Dolina following the yellow, then red sign. The route to the top, which is about 5 km long, will take you less than 3 hours. From the flat top of Poľana, overgrown with grass and forest, you will have a wonderful circular view of the surrounding landscape. You will have the silhouettes of Skalka, Dereše and Chabenec hills as if in the palm of your hand. If you head north from Poľana, the hiking trail will take you to Bôr Hill (1,888 m above sea level). From there you will be able to walk up to Mount Siná (1,560 m above sea level), which is an important tourist crossroads.
