The Natural History Museum in Bratislava is an important workplace under the administration of the Slovak National Museum. Located on the Vajanského nábreží, the public can view natural history exhibits and various short-term exhibitions. The museum's collection currently includes more than 2.4 million objects. Most of them are exhibited in permanent exhibitions, the others are presented at various events. The Natural History Museum in Bratislava offers visitors 4 permanent exhibitions: - Miracle of nature — The story of life on Earth. This paleontological exposition will guide you through the evolution of extinct communities of organisms on Earth. - Miracle of nature – Biodiversity of Slovakia. At this exhibition, you can get to know the diversity of Slovakia's living nature in four rooms. - Miracle of nature – Biodiversity of the Earth. You will get to know the living and non-living nature that occurs in various environments on our planet. - Miracle of nature — Jewels of the Earth. Mineralogical exposition with 1,100 samples from more than 700 types of minerals that occur in Slovakia or abroad.
