In the Ľupčianska valley near the Magurka cottage, the 8 km long Magurský golden trail begins. This circular route is an educational trail that introduces you to the mining tradition and nature of the region on 11 boards. On the information boards you will learn about gold mining, antimony and rock processing. Interesting facts about wild nature also await you here. The route that the Magura Golden Trail passes follows a blue, later yellow tourist sign. From Chata Magurka, a pleasant and easy ascent to the ridge of the Low Tatras awaits you on the blue hiking trail. Here you will connect to the yellow route, which you will take back to Chata Magurka. The trip will take you approximately 4 hours, even with breaks. The Magura Golden Trail in the Low Tatras National Park is intended for hikers only. It is located in the territory with the 3rd and higher degree of protection. Therefore, it is necessary to follow the NAPANT visiting regulations.
