When you say Zádiel, tourists will certainly imagine the beauty of nature offered by the Zádiel Valley, also called the Zádiel Gorge. This valley, with a depth of up to 300 m and a length of 3 km, belongs to the most powerful and largest Slovak canyons. A place often visited by tourists, however, in addition to a wonderful trip in nature, it also offers a view from a height from a place called Na skala. On the rock plateau with a view, you can observe a terraced mountain meadow in some places. Its rock walls fall perpendicularly into the Zádielská valley, creating an indescribable and enchanting panorama that you cannot easily find anywhere else. From the viewpoint On the rock you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the Zádielská dolina with the Cukrová homoľa rock tower and the nearby village of Zádiel. The location also passes through educational trail Zádielska tisňava, you can go here by several routes. You can also complete the educational trail Horné lúky. A popular starting point for the Zádielsk viewpoint is the village of Turnňa nad Bodvou, from where you can reach the place by following the blue sign. If you set off from the village of Háj, you will follow the green tourist route to the Okrúhly laz - Zádielské hradisko signpost. Here you connect to the blue. The road also leads along the aforementioned educational trails. All routes to the Na skala lookout are easy and relatively short. Even recreational tourists and families with children can handle them.
