Description of the attraction

Do you like beautiful views? It is also offered by the observation tower, which is located a short distance from the top station of the Dedovka cable car above the Koliba hut. The lookout tower is up to 16 meters high and you will have an impressive bird's-eye view of the surrounding valleys and hills. You will see the villages of Oščadnica and Skalité, part of the territory of Poland and the Czech Republic. You will also be able to admire the peaks of the Malá Fatra mountain range, for example, Rozsutec, Chleb and Stoh. The observation tower is also a gallery. Here you can view six sculptures, the author of which is Ing. Stanislav Mikovčák. Each of them has a unique symbolism that is connected with the history of Kysúc. You can go to the lookout tower by a four-seater cable car, if you decide to hike, you will reach it in about 35 minutes. The observation tower is visible from afar, so you can find it without any problems. Entrance is free, it is open to the public throughout the year.
