Description of the attraction

The Limes Gallery in Komárno is a rich collection of contemporary domestic and foreign modern art. You will find it in the premises of the former Franciscan military church. Art exhibitions are installed in the hall and choir of the church. Visitors of the gallery can admire paintings, graphics, installations, sculptures, photographs, conceptual and action art. The tour of modern fine art is enhanced by the distinctive architecture and acoustics of the Baroque building. The exhibitions are accompanied by musical, dance, drama and evangelistic performances. The events take place in a festive atmosphere. The Limes Gallery is a space where budding and well-known artists can present their work. It also organizes exhibitions of artists who impress with the specific features of their works in all art disciplines. Every second year, disabled citizens also get space for their works in the gallery.
