Hájske waterfalls |

Description of the attraction

The beautiful Hájska waterfalls, which the locals also call Vodopády Hlboký jarok, can be found in the karst gorge of Hájska dolina. The valley with a length of 3 km is accessible from the village of Háj. Signposts will guide you from the road to the waterfalls. In the beautiful nature here you can admire remarkable karst phenomena and waterfalls: the Middle Hájsky waterfall, the Hájsky waterfall above the bridge and the Great Hájsky waterfall. The waterfalls reach a height of 1-7 meters and their abundance is determined by the amount of precipitation. In winter, when the temperatures are low enough, you can admire the impressive ice walls and icicles on the spot. The quiet environment offered by Hájske vodopády is perfect for sitting. Here you will find a gazebo, benches and fireplaces, thanks to which you can diversify your trip with roasting and grilling. The road to Hájske vodopády is not difficult, even children and recreational tourists can handle it. You can get to them by following the yellow hiking route and the red cycling route from the village of Háj to the village of Hačava. The route passes through Hájska dolina.
