Description of the attraction

The Gombasecká cave rightly ranks among the most important caves of the Slovak Karst National Park. Connoisseurs of natural beauty also refer to it as a fairy tale. It is because of the wonderful bizarre shapes and forms that nature has given to the drops in the cave. Their work is still ongoing, which adds colorfulness and freshness to their beauty. If you want to see the most beautiful part of the cave, it is the Marble Hall, which has an 8 m deep well. The Hall of Wisdom (Hall of Viliam Rozložník), Hall of Peace (Hall of L. Herenyi), Brková Hall and others should not miss your attention either. Gombasecká cave has favorable microclimatic conditions. Inside, the temperature is constant around 9 °C and the humidity is 98%. Its clean air also benefits humans due to the favorable composition of the aerosol. Therefore, in the Marble Hall of the cave at a depth of 80 m, experimental treatment of some diseases of the upper respiratory tract was also carried out. Her achieved results were very satisfactory.
