Description of the attraction

The only accessible cave in western Slovakia is the Driny Cave. Although it is smaller in area, it offers a view of the beautiful underground decoration. Some visitors will also be delighted by the number of bats that fly overhead during the 30-minute tour. In the cave you will be able to admire the typical sinter curtains with toothed edging, sinter lakes, streams and waterfalls. The pagoda-like stalagmites and various forms of stalactites are also worth mentioning. Drina Cave is accessible by car, which you park approximately 1 km from the entrance. You will need to overcome an elevation of 100 m, which will take you about 20 minutes. Around 100 steps await you at the end of the trail. The parking lot is located 1 km from Smolenice near the Jahodník recreation center.
