Description of the attraction
The Little Carpathians are a mountain range rich in castle ruins. One of the less well-known ones — Dračí hrádok is located in their southern part, southeast of the village of Borinka. Hidden in a dense forest, you will find the remains of a central prismatic tower, which was separated into the rock by a moat. According to the available sources, the Dragon Castle was built as a guard castle based on the royal initiative in the 13th century. It was probably destroyed by fire during the Hussite invasions. A marked hiking trail leads to Dračí hradok. A slightly difficult ascent awaits you, which you can climb in about 15 minutes. This place is sought after mainly by locals. There is a relaxation area with an information board, a wooden table with benches and a fireplace where you can grill.
