Would you like to get to know Europe without having to travel abroad? You can see a small piece of it in Slovakia. European architectural unique, which is visited by many domestic and foreign visitors every year, is the European Square in Komárno. The Courtyard of Europe in Komárno is a unique building complex that bears the hallmarks of a rich range of different architectures. All of them are typical for 45 European countries and regions. In one place you can compare the distinctive features and beauty of, for example, Icelandic, Finnish, Ukrainian, Polish or Greenlandic architecture. European Square in Komárno is complemented by magnificent statues of Hungarian kings. When you walk around this place, you will see other gems. They are the German House, behind which you will find a carved bell tower. A copy of the music pavilion from the Anglia Park stands by the footpath that leads to the courtyard of Europe in Komárno. You should not miss the statues of co-patrons of Europe. Four historic entrance gates complete the unique atmosphere.
