Description of the attraction

One of the most popular cottages in the Hrebienok resort is the Bilíkova cottage. It is located at an altitude of 1,255 m above sea level. in the forest environment of Studena dolina. The cottage breathes a romantic atmosphere and closeness to nature. Bilík's cottage is open all year round, you can reach it on foot from Hrebieno. You can reach Hrebienok on foot or by cable car from Starý Smokovec. Cozy accommodation in rooms and apartments as well as restaurant services are available. The mountain rescue service station also has its premises at the cottage. The cottage is marked by a memorial plaque in honor of Pavel Bilík, who was captured by German soldiers during the Second World War during the battle above Horny Smokovec. He was later executed at Kežmar Castle. Currently, Bilík's cottage is a great starting point from which you can go hiking and mountain climbing starting in the early hours of the morning. It is also an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay with children and to organize various events and trainings.
